Hello ladies, today I am back with the first Get To Know The Blogger post of 2012!

I asked Hannah a series of questions and here is what she had to say . . .

1, Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I am 20 and studying Law in Ireland however I have a ridiculous obsession with all things beauty (and pink and sparkly!) so my little blog is my outlet for that.

2, Can you tell us one fact about yourself?

I am pale, like super pale. However I put up with teasing (putting it nicely) for many many years until I decided to do something about it and now I use fake tan every. Single. Day. Some say it’s ridiculous but I really don’t care because I love it and wouldn’t have it any other way!

3, When did you start blogging and what made you want to?

I properly got into blogging in January 2011 and I am so glad I did. I originally wanted to do YouTube as I had watched tutorials etc on there for so long but I lacked confidence, so blogging was the way to start!

4, How did you come up with your blog name?

 Funny story, I had a little ebay shop that I was going to sell beauty products and stuff on and I called it Hello Beautiful Products. However it was a total fail as I hadn’t a clue what I was doing and got loads of angry emails from people, so I shut it down! But I liked the ‘Hello Beautiful’ name and I’m glad I got to put it to good use, eventually!

5, What do you like to write about most on your blog?

I love writing and reading reviews and that’s why I started my Lipstick Lover Review series!  check out here.

6, What type of blogs do you like to read?

I love beauty blogs, especially those that don’t just copy and paste PR articles. I love when you can actually imagine the person speaking to you with the words you read and they don’t sound like they are writing an essay or something! Boring!

7, What do you look for when following a blog?

I look for amazing photographs, interesting posts and most importantly; personality.

8, Have you ever met any fellow bloggers?

Yes! I had the pleasure of meeting Julie and Aoife a while ago and I credit them both as good friends :o) I have other pals I talk to almost every day on twitter too

9, Have you any blogging tips?

Be yourself, don’t look/act desperate and the followers will find you! ‘Buying’ followers with giveaways is transparent and has an air of desperation to it. Just be yourself! That is the greatest asset to your blog.

10, What has blogging taught you?

CONTOURING!! It’s the most amazing thing I have ever learnt! It’s changed the way I do my makeup, and I think I look much better for it :o)

11, What is currently in your make up bag?

MAC Studio Fix foundation and Studio Finish concealer, Maybelline One By One mascara, NARS Mata Hari blush and NARS ‘Roman Holiday’ lipstick- I just keep the basics in there for on the go touchups.

12, If you could only use one make up brand for the rest of your life what would that make up brand be?

This is such a hard question! But I would have to go with MAC although I know that’s what ‘everyone’ will say. I just really enjoy using their products.

13, If you had to choose one, what one make up product could you not live without?

Foundation, my skin is rubbish!

14, If you could only shop in one shop/store for the rest of your life what would that shop/store be?

I’m going to sound so biased as I work there, but New Look! For the past almost 4 years I’ve worked there I have shopped there almost exclusively. I love their shoes and they have great basics as well as dressier pieces.

15, How would you describe your style of clothing?

Not very cool at all! I’ll wear what’s ‘in’ as long as it fits in with my style. In a nutshell I like girlie, floaty style clothing with leggings/skinny jeans- and I do love a good bodycon dress for a night out!

16, Tell us one of your beauty tips?

I don’t really have any, but one I find really important is to remove your makeup before you go to bed. Seriously. How can you expect makeup (however expensive) to look good on such a bad base? When I sleep in my makeup (we are all guilty once in a while) I suffer for weeks!

17, Have you ever had a beauty disaster?

Yes, false tanning from ages 14-16 *shudders*.

18, How do you care for your skin?

I just use a face wash, then cleanse, tone and moisturise. Works just fine! I also swear by Sudocrem for spot zapping.

19, Do you care for your hair? and how?

I use a heat protectant and leave in conditioner- I adore Aussie haircare.

20, Apart from make up/blogging have you any other interests?

How sad do I sound, Blogging is probably the first hobby I ever had!
